Gentle and Fierce Book Covers
#2025

This assignment challenged me to interpret a text and visually convey its themes and emotions through an engaging book cover.

I focused on intertwining the author's life experiences with animal characteristics, creating a digital collage of birds and humans inspired by Max Ernst.

I sourced images of human legs and animals from stock websites and combined them digitally using image editing software.

How to Build the Prefect Nest
#2025

This project was developed as an SKO and tells the story of a bird building the perfect nest, serving as a metaphor for the creative process.

The publication illustrates my understanding that design is a continuous cycle of refinement, learning, adaptation, and discovery within an evolving creative environment.

How to Build the Perfect Nest features scenes crafted by hand using cut-out paper, fabric, markers, and buttons.

Ugliness In Human Beauty
#2024

The studio assignment was to create a series that communicates a personal story. In this photographic series, I explored societal beauty standards and questioned whether true beauty lies in our scars.

I also examined why individuals feel compelled to comment on features that do not align with prevailing online beauty norms.

Bar Talks Artist Book
#2024

The assignment required us to create an artist book about a meaningful place. Chit-Chats explores Foragers Drop, a venue that fosters a unique community among my high school friends and me. The publication guides viewers through illustrations of the bar and interviews with friends and staff.

I created the illustrations in Procreate, and the zine covers were made from fabric.
